Powerquest fun run.
 

Has anybody heard anything about a Power Quest fun run for 2015 ????.

The guys that have formed west mi offshore were instrumental in putting that run on last year. (one of them he had the 280 with the whipple) he has since moved over seas for work. They have a run scheduled for gh to boatwrks this year.

Haven't really put anything together. Tentatively we planned for the August 8th, but ultimately the WMO Fun Run is the following weekend and a lot of us our members there. We planned on just running with that.

Plus there is something else going on in Grand Haven and no slips were available on the 8th

It will be on july 23rd. will ha the details will be right after the first of the year

The PQ run is going to be run during WMO's Rock The Coast. This will allow PQ owners the opportunity to get ariel pics of their boats running on beautiful Lake Michigan.

They are doing the "long distance " membership. Everyone has to be a paying member to be covered by the liability insurance. There will also be a $20 per boat fee to help cover part of the cost of the helicopter and photographer. WMO is going to cover the rest.

So it's $45 for a non member. $20 + $25 Long distance member. It's still a GREAT deal, especially with the helicopter! .

Just a reminder, it's coming up on July 23.
PQ owners...don't forget about the PQ fun run being taken on by West Michigan Offshore this year in July 23rd. We are expecting about 70 boats anywhere from a 216 checkmate to a 52' Outerlimits and everything in between. We will be leaving Grand Haven at 1130 am and heading to Holland for lunch. We also have a drone and renting a helicopter for aerial photos by Pete Boden of Shoot 2 thrill, one of the best in the business.
