Got me a 1999, only owned it a year. Curious if the bow deck is supposed to be a flat finish ? Don't need it slippery, just wondering what the original finish was.

Should be shiny gel coat. Probably needs a good buffing

Yup decks were just gel coat with no texture or non-slip. If cared for the deck should be nice and shiny as stated.

should be shiny. But logic states the surface should have not be shinny on stuff like this

Exactly, salt water boat, lots of rockin n rollin, don't want to slip off the bow setting or retrieving anchor. The PO had everything buffed to the max except the bow deck, that's why I questioned this. Probably will leave the surface dull for safety reasons. Thanks for the replies
