Specta XL 222 build

I pulled the motor on my 1991 Spectra XL. I have the 454 with a bravo 1 and 23p prop. I was just wondering if anyone has put 500hp in a Spectra and how did you like the handling of it.

update on the build
i got the Spectra up to 69mph with a worn out 23p mirage. I’m spinning 5600rpm. I just feel like the boat doesn’t have enough bow lift. Trying to find a used 24p to see how that works.
