Vinyl Color Match

1 Attachment(s)
I own a 93 Conquest and need to get some vinyl work done on the sun deck. Problem is I can't locate the correct teal or yellow used. The yellow seems to be the most difficult. I have attached a photo. I have called Powerquest but they were no help as they don't keep on record what fabrics and colors were used.

Thanks Brian

Their supplier is G & T. Don't know any more than that though.

Call PQ, they should be able to get you the correct info.

Can't speak to your boat year, however that looks like mine. Paint would be Dupont Chromalox "Citrus Yellow"

I did call PQ and was just told they don't keep that stuff on record. I find that hard to believe this day in age.

Tell me about it. They couldn't tell me the manufacturer and model number of a circuit breaker for one of my trim motors. (They have since changed breakers.) Go figure. They happened to have one still in stock and sent it to me. With an invoice.

Oh well, Baja won't even let you talk to them about parts unless you are a dealer. :hothead:

All in all I can't complain to much. They do build one heck of a boat! We had a Scarab a few years ago and after owning one I can see why Wellcraft gave it up. What a piece of junk! I had more spider cracks in the gel than areas without cracks. Seats fell apart, they used regular exterior grade plywood in the seats that fell apart after 6 years. And god forbid if you went out without a screw driver in your back pocket! I think I spent more time screwing the thing back together than anything else. Hard to believe after all that the wife let me buy another boat. Now I just need to talk her into the 29'.

Contacted PQ again and looks like they'll be able to help out after all. I'm taking 3 pieces up to them to be recovered. The people at Powerquest are top notch!
