Hey Rich, what do you think of Puddle Pirates? Jess printed out a list of potential boat names and this one may fit. We boat primarily on a small lake. We are trying to fill the boat with little bodies, Chloe and hopefully her siblings. We could be the Puddle Pirates.

Re: Whats your name?

RC, I think you should go with "LOW ON PETRONE" or "Tequilla Butterfly"

I do like the pirates theme......."Pirate's First Mates" as in checkmates.......

Re: Whats your name?

My 38 is name Blondes Preferred because the wife is a platiunm blonde and the mistress is pale blonde. You can never have enough blondes on your boat when you go into the party cove. It doesn't mater how big your motors are if you don't look good then you are not the KING

Did you change your boat name with this boat? I think you should upgrade to 1075s and call it Gas Pains. Then again, maybe I should do that. :evilb: :evilb: :evilb:

I'm still on No Regrets - I'm afraid that wouldn't fit those 1075s. When I was rebuilding them every 100 hours I would be regretting it.

Ya we changed it, used to be Thumpers Evil Twin on the 29 and the 24 was Thumper.
I do like Gas Pains that is a true name for big power.

100 hours is only once a year that you will have to rebuild THEM, just do it at the end of each season :D :D

Only nice thing about it would be you would get #6s, and other than the original outlay of cash you probably would not end up with drive problems. I don't think my wallet would take the price of the 1075s, and I'm sure I would hate myself when I had to pay for the rebuilds every year. 525s with ITS may not be fast, but it will be reliable. The only thing I worry about is the XRs.

Long boring story,,,someone wanted parts off the pq and liberated it from me,,, In fact drug it out of my driveway a couple of years ago in Orlando while I was on a motorcycle poker run in Key West,,bought a couple of Baja's during the interim so that I wasn't boat less while we fought with the insurance co. and during the trading up process the Formula that I have now came along, and even if it hadn't I'm not sure I would have bought another Powerquest due to the dealer availability in Fl.(or should I say lack of dealer availability). Don't get me wrong, the pq was a well built/nicely appointed boat but the lack of dealer support in the south sucks although the Formula network in the south is only marginally better. But the Formula and the Powerquest are very similar in design and quality.

And that be the long sad story,, Nick
