Anyone have any experience with these boats?

How's top speed, rough water ride, and quality?

I have a 94, love the ride in rough water, have issue with the boat riding level ( have to keep the port side trim tab about half way down), Running mid 80's with a blower motor.

What causes a boat to ride like that? Any ideas?

There was a 96 here bought brand new and did the same thing. If you look at the lifting strakes you will see that not one of them or for that matter not one line on the hull is true stright. Get a good long stright edge and hold it up to them and see all the gap's.

I like the lines, too. But IMO that price is high for such a dated boat, and all the serious problems with older Profiles.

had a 95 299 v twin small blocks ran out great. In rough water was excelent,no leaning or tilting to one side, solid 70 mph with 5 passengers. Now i have a 280 cat also handles great, good luck
