Let me know how the spacer works out. I think that is the ticket. I have about 18% slip myself. Have you measured your x-dimension?

couldn't hepl but to chime in with fellow cat owners, your slip #'s seem high, I do all my boating at lake powell utah elev. 3600ft, 622CI naturally asperated, Imco SC Extreme drive, Imco 12" standoff with 3" rise, stock lower lentgh, 1.34 ratio, 26P B1, 5600rpm, 96 mph gps'd on 6" to "9 in chop. slip comes out at about 6.5% to 7.5%, what is so different in our set-up's, am I figuring my slip wrong? Hope for a response, I like to talk boat's.

I notice that I see no owners from the north east. I would like to hear from anyone that has OWNED one from the north east.

I own the 27' that is listed in the classifieds and I boat in the Mount Hope Bay(MA and RI).It is a stock 454MAG and runs in the mid sixties. The faster you run it the better. The boat has a wide beam for a 27 and is very stable in snotty water. It flies level and lands flat every time.Having plenty of seat time I am sure with big power it would feel safe at speed although I would install external steering as I would with any boat running over seventy.I love the boat and I am only selling it to buy a larger house with a huge garage to put all the toys in while the market is down. Some people have said some negative things about the builder and the boats but I have had a lot of fun on mine and it draws attention everywhere I go.I have had it for three years and its been a great ride.My previous boat was 25' Active Thunder that I had for four years which was also a great boat. You can have just as much fun on these smaller boats as anybody with a big one and they cost a lot less overall.Don't get me wrong I love the big boats with big power but you better have deep pockets to run them these days.Hope the info helps.

I have had a 27 but I believe you know my story as I am sure I know yours if I am correct in thinking you had a 26 from Scott & Chris. Also the 27 in the above post came from them also, it was the last one and is the only one left running that I know of. I heard Dans 29 may still be in Lake George but not sure.
