New Cover 1992 308 Profile
 

I need a new cover for my 1992 308 Profile. Shop wants $600 to make a cockpit cover only and $1,300 to make a full cover. Any one know where to get it cheaper or is that the going price?

That's a fair price. I recently had a full custom cover made for a Cig 20 for $750. It depends largely on the material and how well you need it to perform. The ready-fit covers available online are OK and likely cheaper, but I would not expect them to last as long as a custom cover.
