Help looking for info

I did some trading end of last season for this 2005 Profile 280 Cat and looking to find some infor on it. I traded at a dealership and they didnt really have much info. It runs good and have no complaints about the boat, but it looks like it had a blower on it at one time and only showed 43 hours when I got it. Any info would help or maybe the original owner also?

I'm afraid not. We have been into other boats for quite some time (jet/drag boats) but took the plunge to go for more of a rough water boat for a change and recently picked up a 26 Profile and so far, have really enjoyed it. Who knows, maybe we can get more posting up. While yours looks to be perfect and done, ours is more of a project but we're really happy. Took it out for the first time this last weekend and loved it!

Good looking boat for sure and they can be fun projects. Mine is far from perfect I did have it wrapped this spring cause the paint was in starting to show its age from being in the sun.

I can tell you my 280 liked a 2" shorty and 5 blade props! They like a lot of stern lift. labbed long tube 32 maximus worked well on it. I have other 5 blade props 30 to 34 if anyone is interested, herings and hydromotives.

Yea Im going to have to look into trying something different this summer with drive and prop. It has standard lenght lower and 4 blade 32p bravo 1 prop. I can only get about 4900 RPM's and 87MPH on gps and thats on choppy water. If its smooth water only seeing 82-83 maybe. Im still new to the cat since this my first and only really used it last summer but really enjoy it and huge improvement over my 25 Outlaw I did have before.
