You're going to love it. We recently purchased a 26 also and it loves chop. Our's is a project but we enjoyed it all summer and I feel we already got our moneys worth. Ours isnt fast but the ability to handle some rough water more than offsets that.

well been running all summer i love this boat running 73 on gps with a 26 pitch lab finish bravo 1 at 5200 rpm

thanks i love the boat so far did 77 on the gps this year with a jet change out with the 750 time for a 800 cfm this summer
