Which Props
i have a 95 31 warlock cat w/ a pair of small blown 509s spinning 29 hydromotive 4 blades at 5300rpm runs flat, seems to porpice at mid range, would a bravo help bring the nose up and settle down the rear, feels a little lite in the rear at top speed it has 1.36 gears running 100mph on gps.

Re: Which Props
The performance numbers indicate you have a nice set-up. I wouldn't change much.
There are several adjustments that can be done to reduce the stern lift of the Quad IV's just enough to settle the stern down without causing the stern to plow thus costing top end speed. If you can get on plane well and you are happy with the handling of the Quad IV's it's going to be very difficult to get a Bravo 1 to run faster. Matt |
Re: Which Props
The Bravo 1's have historically carried the bow better than quad-4's. The mid range is usually better also. On some boats the Quad-4's will be 1-2 miles an hour faster. Certain Lab Finishing of the Bravo 1 will bring back all that top speed and more. Yes you should "try" the Bravo 1 to help your porpoise issue.
