Solid hub a necessity ?
I have a 2000 25 Outlaw w/ a Procharged 502 & Bravo I 28P. I'm not certain if my mechanic put a new SS sleeve in when mounting the new prop. Is this something I should be concerned with ? Pulling the boat is a pain in the azz but I'd rather do that than be dead in the water in the Atlantic Ocean if it's that big a concern.

Re: Solid hub a necessity ?
If you have a plastic insert it may spin. It will act like a spun hub, with increased RPM and loss of speed or no speed. With yor HP it is indeed recommended that you use the SS sleeve.
