Solid hub a necessity ?

I have a 2000 25 Outlaw w/ a Procharged 502 & Bravo I 28P. I'm not certain if my mechanic put a new SS sleeve in when mounting the new prop. Is this something I should be concerned with ? Pulling the boat is a pain in the azz but I'd rather do that than be dead in the water in the Atlantic Ocean if it's that big a concern.

If you have a plastic insert it may spin. It will act like a spun hub, with increased RPM and loss of speed or no speed. With yor HP it is indeed recommended that you use the SS sleeve.

Ok, will do. Thanks, Julie. Could you quote me a price for the correct flo-torq kit (2000 Bravo I outdrive/Bravo I prop) or should I e-mail/call you ?
