What is prop burn?
I have two set's of Bravo 1 prop's 24P Labbed and stock 26's. I have twin 300x's with a very X dimension lowerunits are even with the pad of the boat. With the 26's the boat does a tad bit faster than with the 24's and almost about the same rpm which is 6,300. Do you think the engines are so high that the 24's are grabbing less water than the 26's? I think i might be getting prop burn with the 24's what are the signs of prop burn? Thanks

Re: What is prop burn?
If I'm correct prop burn is when the water actually boils on the face of the prop causing the blades of the prop to become pitted and discolored.

Re: What is prop burn?
You are correct NJSonic. If you were to compare stock 24P props to 26P stock props there should be a difference of approx 400 RPM, the 24P props running a higher RPM. If they are running the same RPM I would imagine that the props have been worked. If the 26P props are labbed then they would run about the same RPM.
