Are you sure your tach is accurate?

Tachs are brand new Livorsi, both read same RPM.
Props were done on an MRI

OK, you're running great! Once you determine the top end rpm you are capable of with the boat trimmed, you will be able to decide if you want to rework these props or look towards different propellers.

Update part duex- Ran 60.2 WOT trimmed out 4700 RPM....need more speed, However the cruise was great 45 mph @ 3500 rpm - felt like the sweet spot.

At what RPM is your peak HP produced?

Re: Alpha SS prop question

Julie- I would have to guess about 45-4700 rpm.
They are not really high performance motors small cams vortec heads.
Mfg states 5200 max rpm.

Re: Alpha SS prop question

You will need to determine were the peak HP is produced if your goal is top end. There is a range for your motor, the torque band and determining were the peak HP is produced will allow you to dial her in for top end , curise or whatever your goal may be.
