props- mirage vs cleaver/32 pachanga
i am running an 87 32 pachanga w/ bravo drives, and engines upgraded to aprox 430 hp(454s), and am wondering why mirages run better then cleavers, sea ray suggested cleavers on this boat, but the mirages are faster and the boat drives better- it feels like the boat is dragging w/ thru hub cleavers- i almost would consider trying choppers after this!! any suggestions or is anyone familiar w/ this hull??? what kind of speeds are attainable w/ this boat w/ the current hp?

Re: props- mirage vs cleaver/32 pachanga
We have done a number of re-propping on the old go fast Sea Rays. We have almost always used Mirage Plus propellers in Labbed configurations.
Most of the Pachanga's had TRS drives and the best prop at the time was the TRS cleaver. New technology allows the Mirage Plus to offer better lift on this hull and the boat comes alive. Use what works the best for you. |

Re: props- mirage vs cleaver/32 pachanga
You may want to consider a Hydro QIV. I have a few clients that have had great success with these propellers.
