This may be a dumb question, but Im new so....
 

How do you go about finding the right prop? Most places want numbers (rpm/spd@WOT), etc... before they sell you a prop. But, if you know your current prop isnt right for your application, how can you give accurate numbers? Plus, what if one wants to try a 5 blade and a 4 blade in a couple different pitch's to actually 'see' what prop is right for your boat? I dont know of any places that would actually give you a couple different props to 'try' before you make a spendy purchase. So what is one to do? Or, is there a few co.'s out there that would lend a couple props on the notion that you will be pruchasing one from them once you find the right one? Any help for the new guy would be greatly appreciated?

We offer a loaner program. We don't charge to use the propellers other than to pay shipping and a very small processing fee. If you would like to learn more, give us a call and we will do what we can to help you.

We ask questions about your current set up so we can develop a baseline from which we can ascertain the current performance of your boat.
There is a fair amount of information we try to collect from the customer regarding the boat. With this information we typically have a good idea of how fast the boat will go and with information about the motor we can get close on what pitch and prop will be a good starting point for your boat.

We offer a prop testing program and have for a number of years. We have props from several different manufacturers available for testing.
Our goal is to help you get your boat running at it's best, not just selling you a prop.
