Re: Questions, need new prop
ok, thats good news. But Is it worth fix or worth keeping it for the shallow lakes and buying a Hydro QIV for lake Mi.? I hear the Hydro QIV works best for this hull!? Anyone have a good guess as to cost to fix the mirage?

Re: Questions, need new prop
Yes the prop is repairable. Probably in the $150 range to just repair. We would also suggest some improvements to the propeller to help your bow lifting issues and get the R's where you want them.
We would not suggest the Hydro Q4 for your application. Too much stern lift. If you want to go to a 4 blade prop, I suggest the Revolution 4. We have some to test with, if you wish. |
Re: Questions, need new prop
I think I will take up on the Revolution 4. I will not be till next season. Just about time to put it away for the winter here.
