What prop should I Use

I have a 40' fountain with "3's and im running a 26p 3 blade clever prop. I would like to go to a 4 blade but not sure what size pitch. Any ideas?

Please give us more info on the boat and power package(rpm and speed,desired rpm, etc.). Also, what diameter are the current propellers?

Its a 1987 40' fountain with twin 509's with 177 b&m blowers, 5000 rpm 70mph. I hope that helps

What's your gear ratio and propeller diameter.

Do you know the X dimension of the drive or better yet how far under the boat bottom is the centerline of the prop shaft?
