Re: 241 Liberator prop
What is the weight of the boat "Wet"?
What is your gear ratio? Julie |
Re: 241 Liberator prop
Weight of boat is 4000-4200 wet (best guess, the weight I have seen on these is 4000 dry with BBC)
The gearset is 1.50 The old owner had a cheap stainless 15P 3 blade and the boat would top out at 42 @ 4500 on a 350 Mag carbed. Thanks James |
My buddy just bought a 88 or 89 241 Liberator. It has the single Ford 460 OMC w/ King Cobra drive. It has the stock prop. He was wondering what prop would be good for it? Any ideas?

Anyone have a good idea? Thanks in advance Larry |
the 3 blades run well on that setup with a deep drive, try a Mirage Plus, enough blade to carry your heavy boat

What pitch? And this is probably a stupid question :party-smiley-004:, but what rotation (RH?), since it is a single engine boat? |
Try a 19P to start, that will give you some info: as to what it will need, 99.9% of the single engine boat's run RH props.
