Johno, this is kind of a different subject but,

The 3 Litre Mercury's have had low end issues for years. We used to actually package the 225's with a small hub Trophy back in 1995 just to give the new owner a prop that would ventilate enough to get the boat on plane. Unbelievable.

We started the Bravo 1 venting when the 300 ProMax was released because the low rev limiter caused us to prop the engine with very high pitches. This in turn caused planing issues.

I voted to put the PVS system into the Bravo 1 when the prop was retooled in 1998. I didn't get my wish. I guess it does give BBLADES, Throttle Up, and other HiPerf prop shops another operation we can offer to enhance our customers set ups. It isn't required on all of them.

i think my problem is only going to get worse . as i am raising the motors up. these motors are 98s offshores merc only made them 2 years i think. they are 15inch now with a five inch spacer, i am not even sure why the hydros make it faster i was told by a lot of people that the bravos would be faster but who knows it is the only step bottom activator out board model hull #1 thanks bruce

Bruce, your right, they were only in production for 2 years.
