Crack in blade

I have a 4-blade Bravo I prop with a crack along the bottom 1/3 of the blade, where it meets the hub. The crack is through the entire part of the blade.

I already have a new set of props to replace this one, but can this be welded and saved as a spare, or am I wasting time and $$ getting it fixed? I would only use it as a 'get home' prop. I did not hit anything... just was the result of a poor grind on the edge.

The boat is a 40' Hustler with twin 500s.

Re: Crack in blade

As a limp home propeller ONLY, it can probably be welded.

Problem is they seem to find homes beside limp home ONLY.
