Can the hubs be switched from plastic to solid on a bravo 1? Do they make plastic hubs for 500hp?

The Mercury plastic drive sleeves are recommended for up to 400 HP, as per Mercury. You can certainly installl them and run them in your propellers, if they have the Flo Torq hub system, but you may want to carry extra sleeves with you when boating.

We suggest solid hub for over 300 hp and recommend them for over 400 hp.

There are two different solid hubs for the Bravo 1 props. Make sure the drive sleeve sits into the prop 1/4" deeper than the propeller casting bore.
