Re: Bravo Three question for the Prop Experts
1 Attachment(s)
Here is a picture of the props as they where mounted when I picked up the boat from the marina.
They used to be a spare set of 28"P's that the marina had sent out to re-pitched to the largest possible pitch... as a baseline test for the HP525. I was told that they were cupped and and re-pitched to 30.5" and now I can pull close to 5,200RPM's with a full tank and 3 persons on board. Can you tell from the picture if the prop's are one spine off? They looked off to me and hence the question about them needing to be aligned. The workmanship on the props is so so...I can feel a few flaws by just running my fingers accross the blades. I'll send my original balanced 28"P's to be re-done by one of the OSO advertisers for a final prop adjustment...if there is such a thing :D Jamal |
Re: Bravo Three question for the Prop Experts
It looks about right. 1 spline is pretty noticable.
Did they also add cup to the front prop? |
Re: Bravo Three question for the Prop Experts
We rework these propellers often. If you need adjustments to correct rpm levels, give us a call.
