How's a Q-IV compare to a Bravo1 in pitch?
?? How's a Hydromotive Q-IV compare to a Bravo1 in pitch?

Re: How's a Q-IV compare to a Bravo1 in pitch?
Im told to compare youd have to go up one size in a Bravo. Hydros are true to their designation while Bravos are exagerated...

Does that hold true for the Cleaver and X blades? Cleavers slip more?

Re: How's a Q-IV compare to a Bravo1 in pitch?
I am not sure if other mercury props designations are exagerated I may be wrong but I believe this is unique to the B!'s

Re: How's a Q-IV compare to a Bravo1 in pitch?
No it is not unique to Bravo I's many Mercury props are not true to the marked pitch. In the case of the Bravo I props they are actually one inch less than is marked on the props. Hydro's are typically true to pitch.

On my 35 Fountain 26 non lab 4b Hydromotives run same speed/RPM as 28 lab Bravos. Non lab 28 Bravos are down a hundred or so in RPM but close to same speed.
