Need props labbed
 

I need a set of ssm props labbed and was wondering whos the best and also reasonable. Any names and phone numbers would be helpfull. thanks Heath

Speedmaster props only come lab finished from Mercury. Your props should already be lab finished. You may need adjustments done to the props which is very common for the speedmaster props.

We use computer measuring equipment when working with the speedmaster props which really helps. These props can be vastly different from the right to left. We are also able to provide you with the exact pitch of the prop before and after working them. We are able to address many of the inherent issues these props have when they leave Mercury. Our customers running speedmaster style props have taken many titles in Offshore racing. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call.

Since were blowing our own horns here....................

One of the main reasons Mercury is having inherent problems with these props is, The guy who pitched and re pitched every one of them at Mercury for 21 years is now a partner and owner at BBLADES. His name is Robert Lucht.

As far as titles, check the records over the last 20 years. I think the Mercury Racing of a few and many years past speak for itself.

Oh yeh, if your propellers are pre 1999, (some of you will remember, the ones of you around during that time frame) we sold all the 3,4, and 5 blades as box stock and Lab Finished props. We also advertised 19 and 26 spline props in 6" hubs. Dennis and I decided then to discontinue the box stock line because we didn't sell many and when we did they came back 90% of the time to get Labbed anyway. I didn't realize then that I was shooting my future foot. If you know what I mean.

So those of you in and around the business back then will remember and possibly still have Box Stock long hub Keikhaefer series #3, 3A, 4, 5 and 6 drive propellers.

We see them in our shop more often than I would have expected.
