what prop do I need
I have a 2006 28ft Active Thunder with a 525 w ITS xr drive. I am running a stock outa the bos 26 bravo 4 blade . 69 mph @ 4900 rpms I do have corsa mufflers and am trying to make a change there. I know there is a lot more in this what do you think?

The easy answer is go to a labbed bravo to get your revs up. But the 525 should be pushing you faster anyway. How heavy is your boat?
My 25 Outlaw with 2006 525, Imco ext box and XR currently showed a best on the GPS 78.9 mph @ 5300 rpm with 11 hours on it. Labbed Bravo 28 works for me. I did try an unlabbed 26" Maximus five blade, though and it swallowed at least the last 50 hp. The boat only ran 73 @ 5000, I think. How high is your drive mounted? I reckon that this is the key with an ext box (ITS). With the drive trimmed down until the cavitiaion plate is parallel to the hull /pad, measure the vertical distance between the two. Mine has 4 1/3". |

Your efficientcy is good enough to accept Lab Finishing the propeller. You could see 2-3 mph in the WOT range.
