2000 Top Gun best props

No steps, 650hp, bravo XR with stelling standoff boxes and 30p bravo 1's on now that rotate out. It seems to have a lot of bow but I'm not sure if this is normal because I have not tried anything different. The previous owner said he ran 29p hydro as well but did not remember what one ran better. What would be the best prop? Post any experences with this type of boat.

I have had some great luck with the Hydro P5-X on the Top Guns. They will lift the stern a bit more. I think you will really like the way they feel.

What pitch should I try.

We have propped more TG's with Bravo 1's than anything else. We have been seeing more and more people liking the Maximus and P5X though due to the cruise speed capabilities.

What is your current speed and rpm at WOT with the 30 Bravo's you have now?

Are the 30p Bravo 1 props stock?

You won't like 4 blade hydros on a newer non stepped Gun, maybe on an older and heavier style hull
.On our 1997 Gun we run 1.35 ratios and a pair of labbed 30 Bravo 4 blades turning out.. We also have a set of labbed 29 4 /b Hydros , the Bravos are hands down better for this boat, know comparison in ride, speed etc.
I cant say how the 5 blades compare on a Gun ,I know on our Cat the 5 blade cleavers vs our 4 blades run way better in all aspects.
Good Luck!

Modified 600SCs 7 lbs of boost 850 hp 95MPHgps @ 5800 rpms.
Broke two Max Worx drives last season, so we de tuned her this year.

Now with less boost and smaller carburetors 5lbs of boost 750hp or so she trims up to 88 mph gps @ 53 to 5400 rpms fully loaded with fuel and passengers if it's choppy enough, in smoother water 85mph tops loaded.
Boat cruising at 4500rpms with light or zero tab and a touch of positive trim is 75mph gps with 4 blade Bravos.
You need a ton of power to make these rigs fly.
Hope this helps!
