Spinelli Props?

I know they are a smaller manufacture of Props. But I sure don't hear much about them. They make a 4 blade round ear prop. It looks like a Mirage with 4 blades.
Bblades and Throttle up ( or anyone else) What are your opinions of these props?

Payton, spinelli went out of buisness a several of years ago. Like all custom props their very boat specific. Try it before you buy it .

Re: Spinelli Props?

they seemed to be more suited to smaller runabouts not really offshore type boats, we had good luck with them on 18 foot checkmates and small bajas we tried them on a 30 velocity but they had real high slippage and wouldn't hold in the rough ( tended to blow out on re entry) but as was said every boat is different so one has to try,

They were brothers based in New York. They went out of business a couple of years ago. I have had one of there props for 3 years.

had spinelli's on my old 302 and my old '79 377; they did absolute wonders for every aspect of these boats' performance.

They worked great compared to stock Mercs onnthe Cafe Racer Cig I had a few years back. Gained 4 MPH.

Re: Spinelli Props?

I have a 26 Spinelli that would put me on the rev limiter, but the boat ran fast with it and accellerated very well. Seems like a good, strong prop.

I have 2 sets of 3 blade cleavers.they are fantastic 0n my 28
cigarette!

i ran 28p 4 blade Spinelli's on my 28AT twin until they spider cracked everywhere....labbed too thin; by who I don't know. They were on the boat when I bought it; but I still haven't seen the top end it got with those Spinelli's....too bad they disintegrated! Spinelli Bros were out of Rochester NY, they were a niche in smaller performance hulls.
