B1 prop codes
 

I have a Bravo1 28P prop with the following code stamped into the aft hub. What...if anything does it mean?????

It reads....C S I U L

Does anyone know what this means ?

The remainder of the stamping is the diameter and pitch data (i.e 15 1/4 X 28L).

I think the number is stamped at Merc. bblades would know for sure I would think.

Yes, this is a Mercury Racing proprietary code that signifies the date of production, the technician doing the work and what was done to the prop. There are other codes also that give more information.
