need prop advise for the michelob light boat
the boat is a kevlar layup, with 1050hp a side 1000ft lbs of torque. 6000rpm is what i plan to rev the engines...on a regular basis :D . im running 1.48 to 1 ssm#3a drives, 1 to 1 bw trannies. im hoping it will run in the 100 to 115 mph rangs but your guess is probably better than mine. im not sure how fast it went in the day but i would assume around 90 i also dont know what kind of tq or hp the mech fuel inj bbc's made back in the day either. any insight would be great. i plan on running 4 blade wheels nothing to exotic. thx for you input. ratman
btw its a ligth layup raceboat with no cabin. joey ipolito told lucky strike this was the faster of the 2 mich light larry smith boats :drink: |
