I'm not either but someone else advertized a solid hub Bravo 1 so I thought it best to ask just in case. I need to finish ECU dial in and dyno test before final decision on prop change. If I am in the market then I will check to see if it is still available.

Just a quick history note.

We came out with the flo-torq 2 system in the 1996 era Mercury offerings (current with what we use today). It was a real pain considering all the B1, Mirage, main line props and the OB cleavers and choppers had to be changed over. What a great move though since it allowed all engine manufacturers to run Merc props.

Anyway, prior that, yes there was a cast in solid hub Bravo 1 propeller. I believe it was what we called a A50 casting. Man, were does the time go!?

I have seen people call them solid hubs thinking that the center did not come out.

No, I mean there was a actual cast in solid hub before the press in solid hub we have today. It had 4 long web struts and a relatively thin walled splined center hub. It used a different thrust hub than today's propellers. Totally different but it was a solid hub.
