props needed / suggestions
 

I have a 99 42 lightning with 600's. the props that came with it are in the trailer box, did fair so well on the trip up to Canada from FLA.......I know Hydromotives were the choice then but what would someone suggest today? Need help with pitch etc. too...... I have heard P5's now? is that correct model?

There are a number of propellers that will work with your application.

With a 1999 stock X dimention 42, I would suggest Lab finished Bravo 1 propellers. This was the other prop of choice at the time. The Q4 was being used for various reasons including politics.

If cruise speed is more to your desire than top speed. We have 5 blade propellers you can test with that may interest you.

I have tried Fountain numerous times to get size / pitch but no return calls yet. I did see that someone used P5X with a pitch of 30 on a 42 Fountain. Can I get an idea of price / selection on your website?

Why don't you give BBLADES a call when you have a chance and we can discuss the options and the current situation you are in. There are more than one option.

Can you get a look at the propellers you are using so as to obtain numbers off teh castings? Also, do you have any recolection of the rpm and speeds you were running on your way back to CAN?
