Need Prop Advice After HP Increase (Formula 242LS)

I'm having a new motor built for my 1990 Formula 242LS. Current set-up is a 454 MAG (365 HP) hooked up to a 1.5 ratio Bravo One. Spinning a 23P Mirage (non-plus), I was seeing 54.5 MPH on GPS at 4600 RPM.

The motor that's being built will be my block bored 0.060 over (496 ci) with new heads, cam, carb, intake, and just about everything else. The shop owner says it will generate 630HP-- and he knows what he's doing. The million dollar question is where to start with props? I would like to go to a four blade so I can get better cruising speed and to "baby" it out of the hole to protect my drive. I was thinking of starting with a 26P Bravo One. Any thoughts?

I think you may be in the right direction 26p should be close to start. Mopower`s friend built a 540 for his 242 he may have some advise where to start. Or and OSO advertiser will chime in:D This new engine will make your 242 move right along 70+:D

Good luck love to know how it turns out.

Where you need to turn the engine rpm wise is key.

I think the 26 B1 is correct but only with the correct customizing. Use one to test. If you need one to test with, let us know.
