What prop do I have?

I have a Quicksilver, Mirage 3 blade. I'm trying to determine what size it is! These are the numbers on the prop.

48-13704-23
A41 23P

Is there a website or a tool that I can plug these numbers into to get the details on my prop? I'm thinking about trying a larger prop.

Thanks in advance.

The stamping indicates a 23P...or at least it started its life, as a 23P. If you have any performance data post the details here and we can take a look for you.

Thanks.

I found out that the prop is: 14 5/8 x 23. My prop is mint and has been balanced (not labbed).

7.4, carb, Bravo 1.

Boat does 61-63 gps and turns about 4600 RPM. However, I have to trim way up to get that speed and the boat is a handful if there is significant waves/wakes.

Is there a better prop for this boat? One that doesn't necessarily offer more speed, but maybe more control? This boat doesn't have trim tabs.

From my experiance thats a quicksilver mirage (not a plus)
if your looking for more control i'v heard the 4 blade bravo 1 series props from mercury do well but you loose a couple of mph , on the other end the same size in a mirage + prop would give you a couple more miles per hour but in a 22 foot boat going 65+ would you be comfertable ?
i would but i'm kinda crazy like that

A 4 blade prop will give you more control.
3 blade props are typically faster on top but sometimes better control = more speed.
I would try a 4 blade Bravo or Revolution 4.
BBlades or ThrottleUp will have test props I'm sure.

We indeed can help you with a test propeller should you want to try one. We are just next door in WI.

I like the Revolution 4 propellers on your hull. B1 props can be made to work well also.

Otherwis, Labbing your existing propeller would help in a couple different ways. We could help to get the rpm you need on the top and help some with the stability. We would actuallt turn it into a Plus version. This will increase the bow lift without requiring so much trim. This will keep the gear case more neutral and improve handling.
