what sizes would you try
35 motion,stock 500 efi's,brovo xr's 1.36 ratio,have brovo 4 blade 34 lab
wot turns 4850 and speed is 90 |
You need to run at 5250 RPM at WOT...so 32P props should do it. If you want to consider different props or blade designs they are out there and readily available. Let me know if I can help.

4 or 5 blade
|
What year is your Motion? Or do you have the measurement of your prop shafts in relation to the hull?
Julie |
1999 35 foot on ext boxes high x dem
|
I have calculated your slip at 17-22% dependant upon the actual pitch of your 34P Bravo props (theyare anywhere from 32-33.5). So that being said 5B props will most likely net better performance for you and get your slip numbers under control. At the high end of the range I have calculated you may even want to consider 6B props or spacers, dependant upon the measurements.

I agree you have some slip issues.
I'm not real keen on the 6 blade idea and the 5 blade is a maybe. You will need to get the diam. right on the multi blade props. If your 34 is a standard Lab Bravo1 from Mercury, it can be enhanced to run better. The 34 Bravo 1 propeller is different than the rest of the Bravo 1 family. It can have a higher slip ratio. I think testing a spacer may be the ticket. Does the boat react to trim well? |
yes it trimable when running and can feel the boat lingting up when you trim it up you gain rpm but lose mph
|
Possibly the result of the high drives. I would consider 5B props.
