Is this a Hydromotive prop number?

I have this stamped in a prop and I'm trying to find out what it is exactly. HE25681RP275

I'm going to call Hydromotive, but thought I'd ask the board first.

TIA

It should be stamped on the barrel between two blades. That is Hydromotive's stamping when they service or lab finish a propeller.

Sorry, I don't fully understand what your saying. The numbers I posted where in fact between two blades. So can you tell from the number what the prop is ? Lab finished and/or pitch?

To find out what model and pitch the props you will have to look on the inner hub on the aft end of the prop. This is right where the nut goes.

If it's a Hydromotive prop it will have a part number similar to HCCLQIV26L. The number is the pitch and the "QIV" is the model, Quad IV.

The HE number won't really tell you if it was lab finished or not, it is used for any kind of service work that Hydromotive performs on a prop.

O.K. its a PX5 26' prop. Thanx Julie.

From running my boat this weekend, I'm turning around 5500 to 5600 rpm. Thats where Whipple wants this engine to run. HP500EFI with Aluminum heads and a stage two Whipple kit. Should be around 750 hp. The boat porposes about 70. I don't know if there is a prop that can help it. I do believe the PX5 is a bow lifting prop. My old Bravo 1 26' did the same at 70mph.

Thoughts?

Can you throttle thru it? If not then we may need tpo consider changing the lift to change the behavior.

No way. the boat bounces almost ! I can run some tab and lower the drive and it helps some, but not much. And it really slows the boat down. I am afraid its the nature of the hull. I'm going to the Sunsation web site and will ask around.

Maybe something to consider is a semi-cleaver, this will induce greater stern lift than the P5-X and certainly change the behavior.
