Default What to run on a 35' Sonic

Thinking about trying a set of 5-Blade Hydromotive props. Boat is 35' Sonic (full V-Bottom), HP500's with XR Drives. Anyone have any experience with these props? What's the best pitch for this set-up? Any insight would be great.

Thanks

With the original "X" dimention, a 5 blade propeller may create too much stern lift. We do have 5 blade Maximus propellers for testing if you would like.

We haven't changed the "X" dimension. Boat currently porpoises, was hoping the 5-blade would calm this down a little. What pitch would you recommend? How does your testing program work?

The 5 blade will wet more of the hull and very well could help stop some or the porpoise. It could also and most likely will scrub top speed.

We charge $25 to test a prop. No strings attached.

This interests me...... I Have a Sonic 358 Diablo with twin 575's.... I have a slight porpoise too ...... I have a brand new set of 30 pitch Bravo's for this season but may be interested in testing something else to compare....... if I can get rid of the porpoise without losing to much speed I would be interested in purchasing.

Here's Johnny, what are you getting for speeds with that set-up?

Vettex1.........This past season was my first with the boat... The boat came with Labbed 30 pitch Bravo's that are in really bad shape...they have two seperate repair numbers so they have been worked on at least twice and are still dinged up. With that in mind and running with a full load of fuel, 5 people, coolers, beach gear, etc, etc, I was able to hit 79 mph. This year I am hoping to see low to mid 80's with light load and new props.....
