Hey, MIA0076 told me you might be able to give me a hand. Currently in Iraq so you have some time. I just recently purchased a Donzi 28 Scorpion (Twin 377's). Now with the labbed 25p Mirage 3 blades she will run 80, but her holeshot is not good. Now with Merc Marine 4 blade 24p she will run 70 @ 5100 get out of the hole twice as fast but I do not like to sacrifice that much top end. Looking for some help. Should I be looking for 5 blades? I am in a different world now with twins...Any help is appreciated.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay. A 10 mph difference is larger than I would have expected. What rpm was that at? The 4 blade props can be Lab Finished to gain 200-300 rpm. This should give you a 2-4 mph gain. |
