Are you sure your running 32P 3 blades? That seems like a lot of prop for the 225HP. I am running 280HP 2.5's and mine are 14.5 X 32P 3 blades.

don i have 15x30 labbed cleavers on now.the guy i bought the boat from was running 14.5x32 labbed cleavers.he said those were a few mph faster that the 30's.he broke a prop shaft and lost 1 side 14.5x32.i need to decide to get a replacement 14.5x32 or switch to 4 blades.if i go to 4 i will have to drop in pitch.don't really like how this boat comes out of the hole.

don do we have the same gear ratio and by chance do you have a spare left rotation 14.5x32

Usually drop a pitch when adding a blade. 32-30 30-28

Good Point. Our gear ratio's are different.

Sorry, I don't have any spare props. You might want to check scream and fly becasue if I rememeber there are a pair of 4 blade clevers and 3 blade clevers for sale over there.

My Last 30 Motion with 300x's had 4 blade 32 p mercury cleavers on it turning in. The boat handled well and with the extra prop blade in the water it reduced the load on the gear case. I think I lost 1 or 2 MPH by running them.

I never tried a bravo style 4 blade if that is what you are looking for. I have heard of a few guys running that style prop. I believe you will lose a few on top end. I also heard that they are hard to get in and out of gear. Again this is just what I heard and I have not tried them.

You said that you do not like the way the boat comes on plane. What don't you like about it?

First, I have a Labbed 14.5x32 LH 4 blade OB cleaver on the shelf ready to go.

Next, Yes we have run B1 props on many OB cat boats. We have gone from 15" down to 14.5" diameters. We typically vent the props for ease of planning. They have great cruise and load carrying ability.

Call us if you would like to discuss these options.
