Labbed Props
How do you tell if a "Mercury" labbed prop is actually a "Mercury" labbed prop. Do they mark it in any special way??

im also trying to figure out what I have 15 1/2 x 33 bravo 4 blades marked on the hub J04C119 & RM1UL on the left, is this a pair of merc labbed 34?

RD, They are Labbed originally at Merc but the serial numbers dictate 2 different recipes.

thanks, Brett I got them from used from a buddy to try out, them both spin same rpm but don't seem to be any faster then stock 32's (same speed less 1-200 less rpm) ???

there should be some type of code stamped onto the barrel (where the prop nut goes) from what i've seen that indicates what type of labbed job ect. was done to the prop

If there are any hand stampings on the inner hub, get them and I'll decode it for you.

I have 28's with one stamped "R 0 l B L" and the other "T 0 l B L"...

Matched props built at Merc Racing on the same date. Done by 2 different men to the same specification. That was the original recipe, what they are now.......... who knows. |
