Thanks Brett! This is really what I wanted to hear. A 5 mph loss is a lot for us boat crazy dudes... I got to think when the blades of that Maximus flex so much that it hit the shower pick-up. What about the propshafts and the carrier bearing. Do you think they will allow for some play/slack so that can causethe collision aswell? And what alignment is the ideal for the "toe-in" (don't know what it is called on boats) of the drives? I understand that this should be re-adjusted when changing from running inwards to outwards. Or should it be set up for specific driving conditions... (For example sharper turns vs. highest top end speeds etc.)
