BBlades or Throttle Up !! ??

Question....

i run a 17 X 28 - 4 blade (old style merc ) 12-14 rake ??!!

if i stick a 17 X 26 - 5 blade on there(same rake) ..........what would be the deferents in RPM and acceleration ????

And how would it effect the attitude on a light single engine boat ?( STERN or BOW LIFT ) ????

I would bet your accelleration times would improve. slower on top end and no noticable change in stern lift.

Thanks,,,,i still have like 400 RPM left to go ,,so my guess is i can still run the same speed ?!
