3 to 4 blade help

I am running 3 Blade Bravo 27P props. I would like to go to 4 blade. What direction should I take???? Do you need to go up or down when going from 3 to 4 blade??? Thanks Chris

You have 3 Blade Bravo 27P.
You have to go down in pitch to keep the same RPM when adding 1 blade.

Try a 4 Blade 25 pitch to regain your possible 400rpm loss.
You can loose up to 400rpm by adding one blade and keeping the same pitch.
Every pitch you decrease will increase your rpm 150-200rpm.

I lost 400rpm by going from a 4 blade to a 5.

There is no Bravo 3 blade. A Bravo 24 would probably be your best bet as it's actually closer to a 23. It will probably run 4800 give or take. There's lots of other 4-blade props out there.

Is there a reason you want to switch to a 4-blade?
