where can i find some info about this prop

No name stamped on the prop anywhere? I would say it is a 21pitch by those numbers. Is your boat having a hard time getting on plane?

ncrncevic 05-04-2011 08:31 AM

on the prop is no name
i got the prop so i dont now anything of the prop, only the numbers

Mercury "High Five" 21 pitch. What are you putting it on... hull and power?

ncrncevic 05-06-2011 12:11 PM

I will try to put it on my rib with bravo one drive,
it is 6.60meter long, and the engine have 450 horsepower

Sounds about right. I'd suggest you research what thrust washer you need to use if your friend didn't include one.

I have only the prop, what i need more ?

i was searching for a mercury Maximus prop but he giveme this one for a gift

The Maximus is a lot of prop for a single 450hp motor in the size boat you have. What prop was on the boat before? What is your drive ratio, and what was the boat's performance with the current prop? The High5 is rather tiny in dia. so if your looking for a 21" or so, with more blade area, you should look into the Revolution4 21" or Bravo1 22" prop. The Maximus is normally used on hi-perf boats with the drives mounted high. What is your x-dim. and speed goal? Is the speed GPS or pitot speed?

Regarding the thrust washer, your local merc shop can sort you out. Mercury reccomends that you use the solid hub kit, when running more than 400hp.

835467 1 Thrust Washer should work fine.
I'd try a larger diameter/blade area propeller as well.
