Help, Trophy/Vensura PVS

Need help.

I have an old Trophy 48-825908-A45, also renamed the Vensura 48-825906-A48 (?). The prop does not have the PVS plugs installed so it acts funny during planning testing. It's just a big damn hole in the hub, bare metal. I picked up 4 19-889725T35 Medium plugs, as the catalog indicated they came with, for my test run but these are too small diameter for the existing holes. Are there additional parts I need to install these plugs or do I have the wrong part number all together?

Thanks

Old large tube Trophy propellers had different venting. You purchased the new PVS plugs. You need the old plugs. Part number 824431.

They are about $8 a set.

And how do you put a funny quote below your post like a signature? I got a good one.

You need a paid membership to do that. Sign up, it's worth it.

No problem, I'll do that.

I've read some of your posts about the Vensura prop. You were right, for my boat, it was the best prop. Fastest planing, fastest 3000 rpm cruise and 0.3 mph slower than my Laser II.

Yep:) Glad you could use it.

Sometimes the obvious is not the right thing. It's a great prop, but very unterrated unfortunatly.
