with that knowledge i am buying ItsAllgoods 24p bravo 1 that has been repitched to actually make it that big, not undersized like the factory ones.... hoping it all works good and i will still keep the 25p mirage+ if i still want to get the few mph back and dont care about cruise.

On smaller non-stepped boats the stock Bravo props take a TON of trim to get the boat loose. And they have too much stern lift in many applications. I did try a BBlades worked Bravo and it had much better bow lift than a stocker but the high rake of the Rev worked much better on my boat. I absolutely hated a stock Bravo on my boat.

Does the Rev4 have less stern lift but the same bow lift as a Bravo?

Less stern lift with the Rev which equals more bow lift.

I would like to try and REV 4 as well, heard they are ideal.

I had a friend with Solas 25P 4 blade, and it ran 200 RPM less then a Bravo 1 24P. Same handling and characteristics otherwise. Seemed likea cheap prop that worked well.

The solas price is super appealing though!

Is the Solas a Titan HR?

How deep do you need to run a Rev4 or can you semi surface it?

I guess that depends on your definition of "semi-surface" but IMO I wouldn't use a standard propeller as a surface piercing propeller.

My drive shaft is about 4.5" below the bottom of the boat and I need very little positive trim to loosen the boat up and lift the bow with the Rev4.

went 67.5_... at 4800ish this weekend with 3/4 tank and 5 adults plus beer and food... gonna play with the jetting a tad this week and see if i can manage 70mph by next weekend with less supplies and a little less gas!!!

thanks to ItsAllgood for the bravo 4 blade!!!
