4 blade merc props how good are they out of the box ? can they be tuned to perform better and is it worth it?

They are great out of the box. I have been tuning them since 1994 when they were first made and and I was at Mercury continue to do so today at BBLADES. They have huge Lab Finishing rewards and many options.
