Prop Question Need Help!!
 

I bought a 1997, 27 foot fountain with a 502 mag this summer. It has a 24 Bravo 1 prop on it. I really have to take it slow and feather the tabs and outdrive to keep from blowing out. This is getting old and I was wondering if there was something I could do? I noticed on the performance report that Reggie did when the boat was initially sold it had a 22 Mach prop on it. Top end speed and RPM's are virtually the same now as in the performance report with the 22 Mach. Would going back to a 22 help me get a little more bite out of the hole?
