682, yes going up in pitch and Labbing the propellers as needed is a common way to increase speed.

DirtyJerz, Increasing pitch does load the drive heavier. However, the loads are amplified during acceleration or on re-entry after the props leave the water. Once the boat is running at cruise speeds and above (when the boat catches up to the props) the load levels are not much heavier with a couple inch pitch jump. Sometimes slightly higher slip % set up with higher than recomended HP to drive capacity is a good thing.
