I need some help on what props to choose. motion 35 cat rigged with triple merc 300x. i currently run 32 inch three blade labbed cleavers worked by bblades, which are very fast on top end but are not the best prop around. i am not yet decided between either the new Bblades Blaster or the Cutting Edge 5 blade cleaver. target is top end and rough water ability of the prop

I'd suggest you contact Bblades on the new Blaster. It's very new, and not many here has any experience with it. Also contaact some of the others like Hering, DAH and of course Cutting Edge like you suggested and see what they have to offer.

i have already emailed Brett and he was very helpful, as always. i have always used Bblades for lab finishing and repairs, and i was never disappointed. the last repair which Brett did for me was nothing short of incredible. but the 5 blade cleaver by Cutting Edge looks to be a good prop too.

Remember, more blades usually means less speed unless the slip is real high. Then a option could also be lowering the engine a touch and keeping less blades.

Anyway, if you test or buy either, we will love to hear the results.

when i had my old school 23.5 eliminator with 2.4 bridgeports & 7500 rpm and chopper 3 blade props gave the best performance later i switched to 3.0 250 hps and tried bravo props but could never match the top speed of the choppers but mid range was much better with the bravos i guess for me it boiled down to what style of boating you do most
